Zhejiang Qianjiang Biochemical Co., Ltd. is located in Haining City of Zhejiang Province, in Yangtze River delta economic circle. It enjoys convenient transportation condition, with Hangzhou at west. It is 120 kilometers to Shanghai, 90 kilometers to Suzhou and 100 kilometers to Ningbo.
Founded in 1970, it was reformed into joint-stock company in 1993. In 1997, it was listed at Shanghai Stock Exchange (stock code: 600796). It became first listed company in China biopesticide industry and Northern Zhejiang Province. Our company is state key high-tech enterprise, China top 100 pesticide enterprises, China top 50 pesticide insecticide enterprises, domestic large scale new type biochemical and veterinary drug manufacturing enterprise.
For over 40 years development, our company has become a standard listed company based on industrial strength, technical strength, scale advantage and management advantage. And we have powerful scientific research strength and advanced production equipment. Our main products are biopesticide (including bactericide, insecticide, and plant growth regulator), biological drug, biological medicine intermediate and feed additive in over 30 varieties. Meanwhile, we operate external heating service.

Applied microbiology in research field.
I have been focusing on applied microbial theoretical research, and the related technical and product development. By now, I have been authorized 16 Chinese invention patents, 16 utility model patents, and 5 appearance designs. I published 60 research articles, including 20 first-author or corresponding author articles. I won 3 provincial and ministerial awards, including the second prize of Zhejiang Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award, the second prize of the Outstanding Scientific Research Achievement Award (Science and Technology) of the Ministry of Education, and the second prize of the Innovation Achievement Award of Chinese Industry University Research Cooperation. I was selected as a candidate for the 1112 talent project of Huzhou. I am a member of the 9th Council of the forest pathology branch of the Chinese forestry society and the deputy director of the key laboratory of vector biology and pathogen control in Zhejiang Province.
The representative achievements are summarized as follows:
- We are the first one in China to clarify the directional activation mechanism of yeast autophagy on beneficial flora in animal and plant habitats. We initiated the personalized customization technology system of «efficient separation, targeted breeding, and directional activation» of agricultural lactic acid compound bacteria. We developed three products which are an anti-continuous cropping bacteria agent, a crop nutrition bacteria agent, and an anti-diseases bacteria agent.
- We clarified the microbial degradation mechanism of harmful components in oil, cyanogen, ammonia nitrogen, and other wastewater. We excavated and obtained a batch of degrading bacteria that can degrade harmful substances in sewage from seabed sludge, electroplating wastewater, and oily seawater, and innovatively developed a set of comprehensive treatment technology for polluted river water based on bamboo fiber biological carriers.
- We elucidated the efficient capturing mechanism of the cells and their corresponding genes based on the characteristics of the cell surface and its specific gene structure. We developed two major technologies: targeted microbial sorting based on immune magnetic beads and efficient enrichment of target genes based on magnetic adsorption. We implemented the accurate and quantitative detection of ultra-low abundance microbial cells in complex samples, and successfully developed the first fully automatic microbial molecular detector and its detecting kit in China.
- We illustrated the response mechanism of microbial flora in seabed sediments to the microleakage of oil and gas light hydrocarbons, and innovatively developed three novel indicators for seabed oil and gas microbial exploration. We took the lead in proposing the original microbial oil and gas hydrate exploration technology (isMOST), and also successfully developed and established an automatic technology platform for microbial oil and gas exploration in the school of Oceanography of Sun Yat-sen University, which can process more than 100000 samples a year.
My team built a domestic exclusive resource bank of agricultural lactic acid bacteria, which consists of 2286 strains and 590 functional lactic acid bacteria with full coverage of pathogen antagonistic ability. We excavated natural products and microbial metabolites for killing insects, integrated other existing technologies to formulate personalized green planting schemes for more than 20 kinds of agricultural products, such as small tomatoes, strawberries, etc., and formulated a standard production process from soil cultivation to planting and picking. The green planting area of service crops is over 30000 mu for tomatoes, 18000 mu for strawberries, 20000 mu for watermelons, and 10000 mu for grapes. The total output value was increased by more than 1 billion yuan, the use of chemical fertilizers was reduced by about 30%, and the use of chemical pesticides was reduced by more than 70%. The green low-carbon technology is used to achieve zero agricultural residue production of fruits and vegetables, fully promote the transformation of the ecological value of agricultural products, and promote the green and sustainable development of agriculture.
