Shanghai Keyuan Electronic Technology Co., Ltd./Yangtze River Delta Precision Medicine Alliance is a national high-tech enterprise and precision medicine R&D platform. Mainly engaged in online continuous monitoring, control technology development and product equipment development, production and sales in industries such as environmental protection, precision medical drugs and devices, and mechatronics. The company’s technical team is mainly composed of software designers, hardware and mechanical designers, medical experts, and technical support service personnel, with rich experience in the development of related instruments and medical equipment.

Relying on its own strength, the company has co-hosted or participated in the completion of 8 national, provincial and ministerial R&D projects including the development of major scientific instruments and equipment in cooperation with universities. He holds more than 40 patents and software copyrights. He is the chairman and vice-chairman of the Precision Medicine Branch of the National Health Industry Enterprise Management Association, a director of the Analytical Instrument Branch of the Chinese Instrument and Control Society, a director of the Chinese Society of Environmental Sciences, and a member of the National Optical and Photonics Association. In recent years, the company has been committed to the research and development of molecular diagnostic technology, instruments and equipment involved in precision medicine. On the basis of the high-sensitivity, small-scale, low-power fluorescent sensors and molecular typing technology of head and neck tumors developed by the National Key R&D Program, which was led by the company, it has formed many Nucleic acid detection POCT, nucleic acid preprocessing device, tumor intelligent diagnosis equipment and other products. In cooperation with Fudan University and Wuhan Institute of Virology, two portable airborne pathogenic microorganism sampling and detection instruments have been developed for automatic nucleic acid detection equipment and reagents.

In 2012, it passed the IS09001 quality certification system. It has successively won the title of National High-tech Enterprise (2014), the title of Shanghai «Specialized, Specialized and New» Enterprise (2017, 2021) and the Outstanding Enterprise Award of the National Finals of China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition (2016). In cooperation with Shanghai Jiaotong University and Shanghai University of Science and Technology respectively, they won one first prize of Shanghai Science Progress Award. In 2021, it will be approved to establish an enterprise academician workstation.

He is director of the Department of Oral Clinical Immunology of College of Stomatology, vice director of Faculty of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery & Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Head and Neck Oncology of Shanghai Ninth People’s Hospital of SJTU-SM, vice director of Shanghai Key Laboratory of Stomatology, director of Shanghai Professional and Technical Service Platform-Oral and Maxillofacial Tumor Tissue Samples and Biological Information Database. He is also the scientific consultant of Shanghai Keyuan Electronic Technology Co., Ltd./Yangtze River Delta Precision Medicine Alliance.

His work is supported by Program for Shanghai Outstanding Academic leader, Program of Shanghai Subject Chief Scientist and the National candidate of the “New Century Talents Project”. He is the president of Precision Medicine Society of National Association of Health Industry and Enterprise Management and is the vice chairman of the Medical Genetics Branch of Shanghai Medical Association. His research focuses on the genetics and epigenetics molecular pathogenesis about head and neck cancer, precision medicine based on molecular classification, anti-cancer drug research and development, cancer immunotherapy and targeted therapy. He is the chief scientist of the National Key R&D Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and has presided over 13 national grants, 15 municipal and ministerial key projects and international cooperation projects. He has published 5 professional books. Prof. Chen has published more than 120 representative papers. He has won 6 Provincial and Ministerial Scientific and Technological Achievement Awards, including the first prize of Shanghai Scientific and Technological Progress Achievement as the first award winners’ records.
